Week-by-week domain schedule

A 16-week PMP plan walks the three PMI Exam Content Outline domains module-by-module. Process gets the most coverage time (41% weight), followed by People (33%) and Business Environment (26% — tripled in the 2026 ECO update). Review and mock phases follow.

Module 1 of 3
Weeks 1–3
ECO weight 33%
People

Leading and developing project teams: servant leadership, conflict, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, team empowerment. 14 ECO tasks covering interpersonal effectiveness. Build flashcards covering every learning objective and quiz yourself before moving to the next module.

Module 2 of 3
Weeks 4–6
ECO weight 41%
Process

Managing technical project work end-to-end: scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, procurement, and integration across predictive, agile, and hybrid approaches. 17 ECO tasks. Build flashcards covering every learning objective and quiz yourself before moving to the next module.

Module 3 of 3
Weeks 7–9
ECO weight 26%
Business Environment

Project value, compliance, organizational change, and external context. Weight tripled in the 2026 ECO update — give this domain meaningful coverage and quiz time. Build flashcards covering every learning objective and quiz yourself before moving to the next module.

Phase: Review
Weeks 10–13

Review

Weak-topic drilling. exclam.ai surfaces topics where you underperformed during coverage and re-quizzes them. Daily FSRS flashcard reps across all 3 topics to prevent decay. Start doing timed question batches focused on the heaviest-weight sections.

Phase: Mocks
Weeks 14–16

Mocks

Full-length PMP practice exams under timed conditions. Target one mock every 3–5 days. Same-day error review: for every question you miss, re-derive the solution from scratch. Taper in the final 3 days — light flashcards only.

What this plan covers
